Terrain Essentials

This is the first book that I’m working on with Mel Bose, The Terrain Tutor. I’ve known Mel since 2009, when we used to trade comments on our hobby blogs. Over the years we’ve talked more and more, sharing ideas and advice, supporting each other in our efforts to bring new and interesting hobby content to a broader world.

TERRAIN ESSENTIALS covers the core considerations of terrain building (for any purpose – wargaming, diorama building, model railroading). Mel presents his decades of experience on Tools, Materials, and Techniques in a series of detailed builds and then present ways that the techniques can be applied to other builds.

This book is designed to give the reader a solid foundation for terrain building skills that will last them a lifetime, and act as a spectacular complement to Mel’s successful YouTube channel – The Terrain Tutor.
